TEAM SCHEDULE
Competitive Tournaments: Our schedule features a mix of local, regional, and national tournaments that provide varying levels of competition. This allows players to test their skills against opponents and adapt to different playing styles.
Training and Practice Sessions: Besides games, allocating time for regular training and practice sessions. These sessions are crucial for skill development, team chemistry, and tactical preparation. Our scheduled practices will be at the
Beechwood Recreation Center
22200 Beech Road,
Southfield, MI,
6:00 to 8:30 pm
Tuesday and Thursday.
Exposure Events: Including showcases, camps, and events where college coaches and scouts are in attendance will allow players to showcase their talents and attract college attention.
Rest and Recovery: The schedule includes built-in rest daycare to prevent injuries and avoid burnout. Overloading players with back-to-back games or tournaments without adequate rest can lead to fatigue and decreased performance.
Balanced Travel: While traveling to compete in tournaments can be exciting and beneficial for player development, it’s essential to balance the travel schedule to minimize the impact on academics, family life, and overall well-being.
Variety of Opponents: Playing against opponents with different skill levels and playing styles challenges players to adapt and improve. Including games against both more robust and weaker teams is beneficial to provide a well-rounded
competitive experience.
Feedback and Evaluation: We incorporated opportunities for feedback and evaluation, such as post-game discussions, video analysis, and individual player assessments, to help players identify areas for improvement and track their progress throughout the season.
Communication and Flexibility: Maintaining open communication with players, coaches, and parents is critical to ensuring everyone is informed and on schedule. Additionally, flexible and willing to adjust the schedule based on unforeseen circumstances or player needs are essential for creating a positive and supportive environment.
